This week we will learn a different style of Label Animation technique. Those who would like to have a look at the earlier simple label animation methods, the page links are given below to visit those pages:
Label Animation Variant
I have several Label Animations Styles in store for you and we have already seen two of them through last two Articles:
Here, we will examine two variants of the last animation method we have tried last week. If you have gone through the procedures in creating the sample labels and programs then we can try the same animation method with slightly different settings of the labels.
Label Animation Style-2
Last week we have learned a simple label animation method to display Employee Names, and made it to appear character by character from right side of the label to full view. The animated label gives the Form a lively look and makes it more interesting to the User to work with the Screen.
Label Animation Style-1
A Form with lively Objects like Animated Command Buttons or Animated Giffs or Moving Text etc. makes it more interesting to the User to work with our MS-Access Applications. MS-Access doesnt have any of those things built-in or ready made to use it quickly. Our imagination and ingenuity is the only tool available to create something with the existing strictly business like features provided in MS-Access.
Microsoft Date Time Picker Control
We have learned how to use Calendar Control for easy entry of Date Values into Fields on Form through the earlier Article: Animated Floating Calendar. We have used a single Calendar Control for several Date Fields by moving the Calendar Control automatically near the selected Date Field with unfolding animation.
Web Browsing within Access Form
Browsing the World Wide Web is nothing new to us. But, how about organizing the Web Addresses of frequently visiting Websites in a Table and browse the Web from within an Access Form?
Save User Specific Parameter values
Last week we have prepared a Report Parameter Control Form for concurrent usage on Network without clashing with other Users Report Data Filter Parameter Values, while preparing different Versions of the same Report. To do this we have discarded the usage of a Parameter Table as Record Source to the Parameter Form and created two Unbound Text Boxes for keying in Parameter Values for setting Filter condition in the Report Source Query. Besides that we have seen how to save the Parameter Values in the Custom Properties of the Form, when the Form is closed.
